A beautiful afternoon of traditional Chinese music
We are thrilled to announce that we have exclusively invited over 130 talented members of the award-winning Chinese Orchestra of Guangzhou (No. 6 High School) to perform at the Riley Smith Theatre, University of Leeds on Sunday 19th January 2025.
The orchestra will present a mesmerizing repertoire featuring traditional Chinese instruments, including the zither, erhu, pipa, ruan, bamboo flute, suona, and sheng, each creating unique and enchanting sounds that transport listeners to a world of cultural harmony.
